This section has to do with just a time travel situation where you are able to travel back to any time, meaning any part of the timeline and history, and you are able to make changes to time, i.e. no parallel universes (even though they may be a result later on, none initially) and no resolutions to paradoxes that prevent the future from being changed. We are constantly changing our future just as a time traveler would change the future from a past present. What the time traveler would do, would not at all be noticeable to people in our present, our seen events would be predetermined to happen therefore making the changed present what you always know it as if the present is able to change at all.
From a theoretical standpoint what the time traveler did does in fact greatly alter the course of history, from a standpoint of seeing the present, it would differ in many factors from the unaltered present based on what you did; everything you did in the past will in some way effect the present, its just a question of if you will see a change, and all of the more complicated questions about the grandfather paradox and so on. That basically means when you compare all of the presents they will differ, the presents can differ by a lot or something very small. If you are able to change the timeline, one way I believe you can is by each particle having its own timeline instead of a whole part of our history. In this, the new changed parts of time will be little pieces of a bigger timeline changed. Another possibility is that it seems to be like an everlasting string of changed presents (parallel universes newly made); however what you live in is the string all the way at the end of the time alterations.
From the minute the time traveler travels back in time, you will be changing the normal present to a new, changed present which goes along with the theory that if this time travel were true there would be an incredibly long string of remade presents or parallel universes that keep being made and end up going nowhere and technically do not exist. There is one theory I have come up with called the stone theory that shows if you go back in time and are able to do anything at all, you are able to affect the timeline from the past. I have come up with a model for this. It is an example showing this theory. Let’s say that you go back in time and while you are in the past you move a stone. When you move the stone and it is able to be moved, it proves that you are able to alter the course of history from the past. What you are actually doing is altering the future just seconds ahead of you, if you can do that than you can and will change the future 100 years from you. The other possibility to happen is that you will be essentially non-existent in the past and unable to do anything or be noticed by anyone. It would be like you are not there if you are not able to change the future.
This next part of the subject of time travel effects I will talk about is all the factors put together to determine the actual events in the timeline of the future you altered. There are certain variables that are the sources which cause the alterations of the timeline. This answer is expressed numerically as well, and not just in what events will change, it is the number of events that will change compared to a situation where you (or whoever) were not there. My simple equation is to express the total number of changed aspects of the future from a past to your present or your present to the future. What this means is this equation works in present day time, and in the past to show total changes. My equation is not completely finished, I am still finishing up research on it, however it will be in my book.
My equation is in the similar style of the drake equation in that it can be shown as a list where you add up the variables to find your answer. My equation shows a numerical answer for a thing that there is much controversy over and that is usually not expressed in this manner. The basic parts to my equation will be things like total number of public situations, total number of changed inanimate objects and so on…This equation will not be anything that proves paradoxes true or shows how everything comes together to change the universe from the past, this just shows the extent of what you changed. For those you will have to get into much more complicated and in depth parts of time space and time travel.
One thing I am pretty sure of is that time dilation has a direct relation to paradoxes with time travel. My basic reasoning behind this is because in theory, time dilation is traveling into the future. Therefore when you make a change on something causing the time dilation (moving very fast) you are making a change not in your very own present according to the timeline. An example is when you do anything on an airplane, what you do is a change and being on the airplane is “micro seconds” of “time travel” to the future. This is why I believe that you are fully capable of making changes when you travel into the past or present, the only thing you can’t find out from this is if there will be anything like parallel dimensions involved. There however is one problem that pops out to me when thinking about how making changes in time dilation is similar to making changes in the past.
It might not be too much alike at all; altering the timeline during time dilation is altering the future from another future relative to us. You might be able to freely alter things because we haven’t experiences the future yet so essentially you are not causing any harm. Altering the timeline from the future could just be like altering the timeline from the present; however I will stick with believing that each particle has its own timeline. That is something you can still know from this. There is one more thing I am currently working on, that is a mathematical expression to represent making changes in the past or future. I would use the knowledge of changes made in time dilation (If True) to help come to a conclusion about the other aspects of this subject as much as I can. Now is the point where it gets back to the aspects of the first paragraph. There is much more to be discovered about paradoxes in time travel.
I currently am in the procces of writing a book on the more detailed aspects of paradoxes in time travel and time travel like what I have in my article. However, I will certainly have new research in my book, and my equations will be done. My book is expected to come out sometime around September or october.
